Engagement Photography Ireland- Hugo and Suzanne

Hey everyone! I am still just here snuggling my baby for the next month or so but I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to catch you up on the awesome Irish countryside engagement shoot I was able to participate in while at my photography workshop in Ireland this summer. Enjoy!Irish countryside engagement shoot

This stylized Irish countryside engagement shoot was fantastic. Have you ever just met someone and knew you would be best friends? That’s exactly how things were with this couple. Hugo and Suzanne are the bomb.com. I kid you not. They are warm and friendly and were so gracious. It was pouring rain at one point during the shoot. Suzanne’s whole body was shaking and they were still up for anything. We of course let them wait out the rain in the car but none the less, they were willing to shoot in anything. Irish countryside engagement shoot

This was one of the 6 shoots styled by the mad geniuses behind the Partyography Workshop series. The hosts of the workshop are Amy of Amy Cloud Photography and Kandis of Wish Photography. Both these ladies are incredible teachers and professionals and it was a joy to learn from them. Both of them have completely different styles. Amy’s is more edgy and Kandis is more whimsy. How could those two mesh you ask? Well they are both hardcore lady bosses and they respect the heck out of each other and their craft.

The workshop took place near Trim Ireland and was 3 and a half days long. We all stayed together in a rocking house where we learned, cooked and laughed together. Over the 3 days we took boudoir photos, had 2 wedding/bridal shoots, one engagement shoot, a glamour portrait session and a senior/whimsical shoot. We shot all over Ireland and had a blast doing it. Irish countryside engagement shoot

This particular shoot we met the couple at our place and then traveled the Irish countryside roaming till we found the perfect spots for these engagements. Look at how incredible this country is? Also, how in the world did that boat just end up on the side of this abandoned house? Such a mystery. This stylized Irish countryside engagement shoot was perfect in each location. I loved the Whimsy of the boat, the romance of the bridge and water. The home was more editorial and the countryside screamed IRELAND! this is truly an experience I will never forget.
